Patsy's Barber Shop
Project type
Brand Storytelling, Photography & Social Media Marketing — Patsy's Barber Shop
Location
Albany, NY
For Patsy's Barber Shop, I was responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy designed to strengthen the shop's brand identity, highlight its rich history, and connect with both existing and new customers through social media.
My work included planning, photographing, editing, and publishing original content across Facebook and Instagram. I created a wide variety of visual and written content, including professional barber portraits, customer transformations, behind-the-scenes features, historical storytelling, community engagement campaigns, recruitment marketing, special announcements, and promotional materials.
A major focus of the project was showcasing the unique character and legacy of Patsy's Barber Shop. Through photography and storytelling, I highlighted the shop's history, craftsmanship, staff personalities, and connection to the local community, helping create an authentic and recognizable brand voice. I also developed content designed to increase engagement, including interactive social media campaigns, customer-focused features, historical spotlights, and seasonal promotions.
All photography was captured and edited by me, with shoots conducted on location to document the daily operations, team culture, and customer experience that make the business unique. By combining visual storytelling, content strategy, photography, and social media management, I helped preserve the shop's heritage while expanding its digital presence and community reach.
This project demonstrates my ability to build compelling brand narratives, create professional visual content, manage social media marketing campaigns, and develop authentic storytelling that strengthens customer engagement and brand loyalty.
